What you’ll be doing...

The Global Integration Solution team is responsible for creating, bidding and closing large and complex integration deals in partnership with Verizon’s sales and account teams across the globe. GIS is a primary driver for growth across the Verizon Business Group with ambitious goals for delivering significant growth in a marketplace that is already highly competitive and increasingly disrupted.

The Managing Pursuit Leader will drive the sales process and outcomes for a team of Global Solution Executives (“GSEs”) who pursue major managed services and outsourced deal:

  • Growing a profitable pipeline of suspects, prospect and live deals in excess of one billion dollars across a minimum of two VBG sales verticals in the USA.

  • Leading and assisting team members manage and close deals - creation, development and closure.

  • Closing major deals with a valuation of Twenty five million with annual TCV target of hundreds of millions.

  • Creating a team culture of the highest level of professionalism - Maximum transparency and collaboration with external/internal customers and stakeholders.

  • Effective Communication with sales VPs and other stakeholders.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Valid driver's license.

  • Must be willing to travel up to 75%.

Even better if you have:

  • Master's degree.

  • Ten or more years of industry experience in networked IT services / telecoms; having both domestic and international responsibilities.

  • Outsourcing / out-tasking /off shoring experience as the lead executive for the end-user, or services supplier, or both, involving multi-country requirements.

  • Personally led and closed at least one complex network integration deal with TCV of over fifty million, involving at least three or more of: people /asset transfer, contract novation’s, partner services, and multi-country requirements; and/or led, implemented and operationally managed similar transactions as the end-user.

  • First degree qualified, and/or relevant chartered institute member, and /or industry recognized accreditations.

  • Line / matrix management experience of significant (thirty or more) multi-function teams.

  • Experience and credible in successfully working with, and presenting up to executive board level in major publicly traded organizations.

  • Lead/second chair business case development and subsequent commercial contracting/negotiating expertise gained in the above environments.
