What you’ll be doing...

You will play a leading role in identifying, qualifying and closing high value new logo sales opportunities. You will bring solid experience in selling complex and integrated IT solutions, with the accent on consultative selling/business outcomes, and have the capability to identify and influence key decision makers. This role is critical to growing our business and expanding our footprint within our target customers.

As a Client Acquisition Specialist you will:

  • Understand and evaluate industry, business and customer trends to build strategic plans that drive sales.
  • Develop deep relationships (at a senior level) with prospects, in order to get to know their businesses, markets, and the challenges they face.
  • Craft, position and pitch creative solutions to help customers understand how Verizon's solutions can enhance their business.
  • Create winning outcomes for both our customers and Verizon.
  • Articulate and demonstrate the value of Verizon solutions to our customers.
  • Build and manage a sales pipeline that will enable you to achieveand exceed sales quotas and targets.

You'll need to have:

  • Drive to succeed with a hunter mentality. You have a solid track record of identifying and closing new business opportunities within new logo prospects.

  • Experience of networking and dealing with C-level Executives within large and multinational businesses.

  • Experience of opening new, consultative digital transformation conversations within target companies.

  • Experience of meeting or exceeding sales targets, and working within a similar role.

Even better if you have:

  • Strongpresentation skills.
  • High levels of persuasion, and the ability to quickly build credibility as a trusted advisor.
  • Understanding of technology in the context of advanced networking, unified communications and security.
  • Awareness of how Big Data, AI and Virtualised Infrastructures can change customers business models.
  • Experience in developing large multinational and Fortune 500 account relationships.
  • Experience in balancing competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Proven ability to build good internal working relationships in a complex matrix environment.
