What you’ll be doing...

As a Client Partner you will play a lead role within our Acquisition Sales Team inidentifying, qualifying, creating and closing high value new logo sales opportunities. You will bring to the role solid experience selling complex and integrated IT solutions with the accent on consultative selling, and have the capability to pinpoint and influence key decision makers. TheClient Partner is a critical position to Verizon growing our business and expanding our footprint within our target customers.

  • Understanding and evaluating industry, business and customer trends to build strategic plans that drive sales.

  • Developing deep relationships with prospects in order to get to know their businesses, markets, and the challenges they face.

  • Crafting, positioning and pitching creative solutions to help customers understand how Verizon's solutions can enhance their business.

  • Creating winning outcomes for both Verizon and our customers.

  • Articulating and demonstrating the value of Verizon solutions to our customers.

  • Building and managing a sales pipeline that will enable you to achieve / exceed sales quotas.

You'll need to have:

  • Relevant work experience.
  • Experience identifying and closing business opportunities within large complex organisations.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Willingness to travel.

Even better if you have:

  • Ability to effectively manage relationships and revenue whilst growing the business.
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to form partnerships up to C-level.
  • Knowledge of technology sales in the context of advanced networking, unified communications and security.
  • Knowledge of how big data, AI and virtualised infrastructures can change customer business models.
  • Ability to navigate and understand the complexity of selling into multinational customers.
  • Experience balancing multiple competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience building internal working relationships in a complex matrix environment.
