What you’ll be doing...

You will be responsible for working with sales and product tower owners to identify new revenue-rich, profitable, repeatable opportunities for combining existing products into standard solutions that meet multiple client needs. Solutions standardization enables a quicker sales/implementation cycle and/or a better customer buying and/or support experience. Solutions development encompasses any or all of the following: combined messaging and collateral, technical integration validation, combined quoting/ordering, or full product lifecycle development and management. This role will focus on the IOT and Multi-Access Edge Compute (MEC) product towers and various vertical or horizontal solutions, working with their counterparts and other product owners to collaborate on cross-product solutions. You will also help Sales represent these solutions with their customers as needed.

This role also works with custom deal process owners, sales and product tower owners to help prioritize, manage, and communicate product tower roadmaps based on revenue, economic, or cultural opportunities that may arise.

  • Alignment via regular communication with appropriate Sales and Product leadership along with regular coordination and communication with Marketing and Sales Operations.

  • Champion new product development and/or processes to enable simpler, more efficient sales and revenue recognition.

  • Identification and evaluation of cross-product solutions opportunities that drive profitable revenue for the Enterprise Solutions sales segment.

  • Program Manage new solution development efforts through the appropriate stages all the way through to solution launch.

  • Develop sales, marketing, and support processes for solution introduction.

  • Sales support including sales training and assistance with customer presentations.

  • Define a robust customer experience based on sales and customer requirements that simplify and enhance the current individual product purchase path.

  • Handle prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, performance, timing and operational support.

  • Collaborate and partner with cross-functional teams such as engineering, finance, network, user experience, go-to-market, and legal to ensure a smooth solution development process.

  • Handle multiple assignments and align them with the business priorities and deadlines.

  • Develop and maintain partnerships with external businesses and vendors as needed.

  • Be accountable for solution launch and lifecycle reporting, managing the process from beginning to end with the goal of meeting solution revenue expectations.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have:

  • MBA preferred or equivalent experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant work experience – product and technical background.

  • Product Development experience utilizing an Agile approach and/or pre-sales/Solution Architect background in the IOT and wireless industry, compute/application platforms and general connectivity, and/or a particular vertical.

  • Ability to quickly understand business challenges, technology shifts and the effects on business and how solutions can be applied using these technology shifts to alleviate business challenges.

  • Independent time management, task prioritization, flexibility, and keen ability to identify problems and work towards solutions.

  • Experience developing and launching Enterprise level products.

  • Excellent communication skills, with an ability to vary communication style based on the audience.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, flexible, with a proven track record of establishing credibility within organizations.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project along with Visio.

  • Understanding of telecom networking solutions with strong IOT, Wireless, compute/application platforms and general connectivity and MEC background.

  • Knowledge of Verizon product systems and architecture.
