As part of the VCG (Verizon Consumer Group) Business Transformation (BT) team, you will play a critical role in shaping the use of emerging technologies across all lines of VCG to improve the experience that keeps our millions of our customers and tens of thousands of employees connected and contribute to EBITDA growth.

  • Engage with business stakeholders to identify opportunities totransform the business using AI tools and solutions.
  • Observe customer, employee and market challenges and concerns for which we can provide a solution.
  • Drive requirements, develop process flows, develop priorities and work with BT and channels to develop planning.
  • Collaborate with internal partners (technology, platform, CX, BT, business) to refine the opportunity and take it to production.
  • Provide visibility into progress, issues and implement solutions to address them.
  • Work as a team to create best practice guidelines and resources from their input.
  • Research new AI tools, solutions and industry development to bring outside in thinking to solve challenges/ opportunities identified.
  • Validate project and use case assumptions in order to improve the accuracy of our automated benefits projections.
  • Supply clear, concise, and detailed person to person communication on a continuous basis with leadership and team members.
  • Develop strategies that will reduce cost and solution delivery timeframes

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience working on projects related to intelligent automation and Artificial Intelligence (AI) - machine learning, data analytics, chatbots, NLP, robotic process automation, or computer vision.

Even better if you have:

  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt Certification.
  • Experience in multiple organizations in VCG - Finance, Customer Service, Marketing, CRM, Data Science, Project Management, Supply Chain and Sales.
  • Knowledge of future based technologies and capabilities including AR/ VR.
  • Hands on experience in data science.
  • Experience in design thinking projects.
  • Ability to develop reports and manipulate information using SQL and Tableau.
  • Knowledge of lean six sigma tools, and ability to prepare business plans and operational performance plans and analysis.
  • Knowledge of wireless systems, digital communication and capabilities of 5G.
  • Strong consulting skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution.
  • Experience influencing key stakeholders through relationships, expertise in data.
  • Proficiency in process mapping software and all microsoft office and google office applications.
  • A balance of project management technical skills, highly developed analytical skills, and proven managerial skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
  • Broad telecom channel experience (Customer service, IT/GTS, Operations, Analytics, Data Science, Marketing, Network) Verizon preferred.
  • Willingness to travel.
