What you’ll be doing...

The Verizon Team is seeking a revenue-centric marketer with seasoned skills in inbound and outbound marketing. We are seeking a leader that will be responsible for overseeing demand generation programs in the small business space. The responsibilities will cover ideation, research, implementation, stakeholder management, budget alignment, measurement, etc.

You will work cross-functionally with strategists, multiple agencies, field/product marketing, marketing intelligence, digital, CX, and sales leadership to implement demand generation programs, ultimately generating new opportunities and sales pipeline.

  • Developing, maintaining, and executingdemand generation plans aligned with business goals.
  • Partnering with campaign strategist and subject matter experts to implement appropriate campaign messaging based on audience type and interest area.
  • Collaborating with other marketing channel owners to execute integrated marketing campaigns across email, web properties, paid, and social media.
  • Grow distribution across all channels, not just owned channels. Must be skilled in content creation supported by SEO/SEM optimization and PPC strategy.
  • Leverage marketing automation and lead management to streamline, automate and measure all marketing tasks and workflows.
  • Interpret program KPIs and dashboard insights to inform next best activity
  • Reporting on performance to goal and areas for optimization on a regular cadence.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • A Bachelor's degree or four or more years of experience.
  • Sixor more years of relevant work experience in the practice of digital demand generation.
  • Two or more years of experience implementing digital demand generation tactics.
  • Knowledge of marketing automation systems (such as Eloqua, Marketo), as well as CRM systems (such as Salesforce.com).
  • Willingness to travel.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree in business or marketing.
  • A proven record of driving successful programs, turning leads and contacts into MQLs.
  • In depth knowledge of demand waterfall analytics.
  • Experience in a matrixed organization with a Fortune 100 company.
  • Direct working experience with ABM in a one to few environment.
  • Marketo Certification (MCE or MCA).
  • Ability to navigate, influence, manage and lead a cross-functional team.
  • Knowledge of building B2B demand generation strategies and campaigns.
  • Knowledge about campaign effectiveness measured against KPIs.
  • Experience with buyer’s journey, nurture tactics, personas and lead scoring.
  • Exceptional project time management and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple efforts simultaneously in support of a wide variety of business leaders, all while demonstrating a professional demeanor, flexible attitude, and an enthusiasm for producing highly creative and thoughtful work.
