What you’ll be doing...

This position requires a background in understanding and measuring customer journeys, and thorough knowledge of measurement and reporting practices. You need to operate at the intersection of insight and strategy - providing data-driven insights, with a focus on revenue and efficiency to drive positive business outcomes.

  • Distill information into actionable strategic insights from complex data sets.
  • Build predictive modeling and reporting to make informed business decisions and monitor results of strategies and assess the impact of all experimentation and engagement efforts on the bottom line for the business.
  • Perform analytics to support and propose direction on strategic business decisions.
  • Drive analytics and operational processes around personalization, by utilizing Teradata SQL, Tableau Development, Aster, and Hadoop.
  • Build complex predictive modeling and reporting to provide guidance to analytics leadership and make informed business decisions, monitor results of strategies, and recommend courses of action.
  • Data mine, build and develop complex queries from various source systems, manage databases and perform analytics to support and propose direction on strategic business decisions.
  • Research and resolve concerns related to Big Data from the website traffic. Elevate issues to Adobe, where necessary.
  • Work closely with the Enterprise Data Warehouse team to maintain our processes and work on improving query efficiencies.
  • Set up requirement sessions with key stakeholders; define metrics and business KPI; identify target audience and level of aggregation & detail needed in the executive reporting; create wireframes and mockup of reporting.

You are a demonstrated professional who can effectively own and prioritize multiple work streams as well as to adapt during sometimes pressured situations. You display initiative and resourcefulness in achieving goals, but are also comfortable brainstorming and sharing ideas in a team environment. You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to speak effectively to both internal and external stakeholders. You are able to partner across multiple business and technology teams. You should have strong experience in quantitative customer research / root cause analytics with attention to detail, adaptable to change and tight deadlines, and is focused on quality. Ability to mine, extract, transform, load large data sets and create concise readouts and analysis based on the actionable insights found in the data.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing, SQL (preferably Teradata), Hadoop (Hive, Spark), Excel, PowerPoint, data visualization, Business Intelligence tools (preferably Tableau) and performing competitive analysis.
  • Four or more years working in the digital space with knowledge of website and mobile customer journeys.
  • Knowledge of Relational and Dimensional Model. Tools used will include Teradata, SQL, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Reporting & Analytics (formerly Site Catalyst), Tableau, SSIS, SSAS, R, SPSS, SAS, and Aster.
  • Experience analyzing large datasets.
  • Experience summarizing and visualizing analysis outputs.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Quantitative Marketing or related discipline.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem solving, analytical, and research capabilities.
  • Experience in building Machine Learning Models and Data Science.
  • Experience building events, reports, dashboards.
  • Experience in R/Python Programming.
  • Experience presenting to and influencing functional leaders and stakeholders.
