We have an immediate need for a Network Operations Engineer to join our Development Operations team. This role will help facilitate the deployment maintenance and performance tuning of our award-winning SaaS application. The role is for a Network Engineer who enjoys ‘hands-on’ and is looking for the opportunity to influence and implement scalable Network solutions with a key emphasis on DevOps.

  • Network monitoring / reporting / configuration / troubleshooting using Solarwinds, Syslog, Netbrain and other tools.

  • Resolving trouble tickets.

  • Performing software and hardware upgrades.

  • Automation of Network tasks/activities.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or relevant work experience.

  • Current CCNP and/or equivalent certification, or working towards it.

  • Experience as a Network Engineer.

  • Experience with dynamic routing protocols, specifically BGP and OSPF in Production environments.

  • Experience with Firewalls.

  • Experience with Loadbalancers.

  • Scripting experience with a language such as Python.

  • Experience in implementing operational automation.

  • Willingness to travel.

Even better if you have:

  • Experience working on Linux and Windows operating systems.

  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.

  • Excellent communications skills to clearly articulate complex technical issues to all levels of the organization (both technical and non-technical).

  • Ability to approach problems with a sense of ownership, enthusiasm, and innovation.

  • Experience with Cisco Nexus 2k, 5k, 7k / ASR & ISR Routers.

  • Exposure/experience with AWS.
