What you’ll be doing...

Billing our customers accurately is a vital part of the customer experience. You’ll be working to identify and resolve issues impacting the accuracy of our customers’ bills to ensure that the process is smooth and seamless. Our Finance function is one of the best in the business and you can help us improve the customer experience every single day.

  • Undertake complex projects and provides guidance on project related issues as needed.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain mechanized systems and processes.

  • Field issue escalations from internal client or delivery partners and respond to customer inquiries as requested, ensuring issue and error resolution.

  • Provide subject matter expertise on complex processes or issues.

  • Identify improvement opportunities for work streams and work closely to enable the implementation of improvement opportunities.

  • Assist in web development and maintenance as well as database and server administration duties.

  • Partner with IT to develop system project requirements that will change design and reduce negative customer impacts.

  • Investigate out-of-syncs to determine root cause driver(s) of billing problems and ensure resolution, drive resolution so that issues are seamless to customers.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Experience developing websites or databases with experience in SQL and Object Oriented Programming.

  • Experience in continuous improvement initiatives, project management, or similar experience.

  • Experience working with cross functional teams.

Even better if you have:

  • BA/BS Computer Science, Information Technology disciplines or equivalent work experience.

  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, SSIS, Teradata, C#/Java, Python, HQL.

  • Seven or more years of experience developing websites or databases with experience in SQL andObject Oriented Programming.

  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills; ability to investigate and determine root cause of issues.

  • Experience with Server/Web administration.

  • A mix of both SQL and Web programming knowledge.

  • Knowledge of Jira navigation.

  • Ability to act quickly and pragmatically under pressure to prioritize and resolve customer-impacting issues.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Strong organization skills.
