What you’ll be doing...

  • Coordinates, plans and debates with CMO Search team to drive the right SEO strategies, based upon results and opportunities uncovered.
  • Serves as the SEO expert and as a resource to build SEO strength on the team.
  • Leads for web content strategy and flow, guided by SEO expertise and web strategy expertise.
  • Determines where content should live on the VBG external website, how it should flow, how it complements other website content, how users can get to the new content, and opportunities for cross-linking and merchandising web content and assets.
  • Proactively audits content in the solutions and product towers to define content gaps and opportunities to edit and create new web pages and assets to improve organic search traffic and drive in new audiences.
  • Works with the Product Marketing team and IMC to create a brief for new content to be developed, and monitors the effort from kickoff to completion, acting as the POC for SEO reviews, together with Product Marketing and IMC as review stakeholders. Also works back with the Digital Experience team to collaborate on the digital experience strategy and map out plan for execution.
  • Analyzes search and digital experience performance to uncover questions and opportunities for optimization.
  • Takes the lead for the Digital Experience team on the weekly holistic search sessions where action plans are defined based upon data/results.
  • Collaborates closely with CMO Media SEO team and Search Agency, VM1/Performics, to take accountability for action items relevant to Digital Marketing.
  • Collaborates with peers on Content Marketing team to ensure that the integrated editorial calendar is validated against SEO web content plans and adjusted as needed.
  • Leverages web development experience to identify necessary enhancements or deeper development work.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Six or more years of experience in B2B content marketing/strategy, SEO strategy and execution.
  • Used digital marketing to engage with and bring in new customers, with B2B experience.
  • Experience with search engine optimization, basic content management, editorial calendar strategy, planning, management and execution.
  • Experience building and delivering presentations to senior managers and executives.

Even better if you have:

  • Master’s degree – in marketing specialization or degree in a quantitative discipline.
  • Experience working in an Enterprise organization to support content strategy and content marketing, editorial calendar planning, search engine optimization, social media strategy and execution, demand generation, nurture streams, with a keen eye on what conversation we should be having with our target audiences.
  • Experience with content authoring platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager.
  • Experience learning, developing, and explaining web technical enhancements.
  • Willingness to work flexible, nonstandard hours.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • In-depth SEO expert and digital experience expert with clear objective to drive quality traffic and conversions.
