What you’ll be doing...

As a Sr. Product Analyst, your goal is to help reshape our product portfolio for small/medium-sized businesses. You'll conduct research and articulate what you learned from research to inform a recommendation and quantify the risk, including a financial model. You'll understand the customer's needs and articulate personas and the challenges of the small businesses so that the appropriate products can be built. Products may include but are not limited to: high speed internet, voice, security, technical support and other value-added services.

  • Deliver a clear strategic vision and roadmap.
  • Have multiple horizons as a Product leader to win now, but also have the right approach to win tomorrow and the future.
  • Perform an objective financial analysis of a potential market opportunity to provide a basis for investment.
  • Articulate what you learned from research to inform a recommendation and quantify the risk, including a financial model.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to determine how well the product is performing in the market, how it impacts the company operations, and ultimately, how it contributes to profit.
  • Ensure that the targeted segments are large enough to support the current and future business of the products.
  • Create internal positioning documents that will be used to develop external messages focused on each key buyer and persona.
  • Articulate and prioritize the personas and their problems so that the appropriate products can be built.
  • Illustrate market problems in a "story" that puts the problem in context, User stories are one component of requirements.
  • Manage proactive communications with relevant stakeholders from strategy through execution.
  • Identify competitive and alternative offerings in the market.
  • Develop a strategy for winning against the competition.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience working on product requirements and deliver new products that meet/exceed needs of small businesses.
  • Willingness to travel.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Master's degree in Business or Marketing.
  • Agile development experience.
  • Managed multiple relationships with teams (both internal and external).
  • Strategic thinking, problem solving, and interpersonal skills.
