What you’ll be doing...

As an SMB Solutions Product Manager/Owner, your goal is to help reshape our product portfolio for small/medium-sized businesses. You’ll conduct research, understand the customer need, define product and customer requirements, and build financial models and business cases based on opportunity size, a robust roadmap and deliver successful new products.

  • Deliver new products that meet/exceed the needs of small businesses and help the SMB product organization achieve associated targets.
  • Deliver a clear strategic vision and roadmap.
  • Perform an objective financial analysis of a potential market opportunity to provide a basis for investment.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to determine how well the product is performing in the market, how it impacts the company operations, and ultimately, how it contributes to profit.
  • Map needs with target markets and analyze the market segments to actively pursue.
  • Describe the product by its ability to solve market problems. Create internal positioning documents that will be used to develop external messages focused on each key buyer or persona.
  • Research and document the buying process that the target person use to select a product.
  • Articulate and prioritize personas and their problems so that the appropriate products can be built.
  • Illustrate market problems in a "story" that puts the problem in context. User stories are one component of requirements.
  • Identify competitive and alternative offerings in the market. Assess their strengths and weaknesses.

You motivate others to do their best work. When making decisions, you expertly balance the needs of all parties.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Product management experience.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Master’s degree in Business or Marketing.
  • Agile development experience.
  • Managed multiple relationships with teams (both internal and external).
  • Strategic thinking, problem solving, and interpersonal skills.
