What you’ll be doing...

This role is a Manager - Marketing Technology on our Transactional Messaging team that defines business requirements for developing high volume email and text communications that increase brand recognition, lower call volumes and drive revenue.

In this role, you will manage all aspects of transactional campaign deployment – including the strategic, tactical and support functions (creative, project management, data strategy, technology, and analytics). You will work with business and product sponsors as well as other key stakeholders to leverage marketing technology to drive business performance and best in class customer experiences.

  • Creating best-in-class post-transaction communications experiences.
  • Integrating disparate and duplicate messaging into a cohesive and clear transactional program.
  • Documenting and delivering communications that align to requirements from key stakeholders within legal and the broader business.
  • Ensuring proper HTML presentation and the quality of all outbound campaigns on desktop and mobile.
  • Delivering insight and research for optimizing communication programs; customer journey mapping, cross-sell campaign strategies, personalization, and A/B testing.
  • Developing and utilizing appropriate quality assurance standards, methods, or procedures to ensure overall product quality and/or release readiness.

What we’re looking for...

You have experience building CRM communications programs with multiple data sources and have a proven ability to solve problems. Ideally, you also have experience working with commercial marketing tools like Adobe Campaign, Adobe Experience Manager, etc. Most importantly, you are someone who can translate input from non-technical teams into clear business requirements for our IT teams that will help drive great customer experiences.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • CRM or direct marketing experience.
  • Experience with marketing operations.
  • Willingness to travel.

Even better if you have:

  • Experience with commercial marketing software and/or tools.
  • Experience managing external partners and agencies.
  • Experience managing others.
  • Experience writing user stories, conducting user acceptance testing, and developing detailed business requirements.
  • Knowledge of agile development process.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and operate under tight timeframes.
  • Proficiency in development tools for creating, publishing, and managing email content (e.g. Photoshop, Dreamweaver).
  • Knowledge of technical scripting languages (e.g. HTML, CSS).
  • Knowledge of project management tools (e.g. JIRA).
