Verizon’s Public Sector Customer Experience Consultants will help clients achieve their desired outcomes by working “outside-in” – starting with customer needs and partnering to design an effective, effortless journey that delivers better customer experiences and drive operational efficiency and improved agent experiences who deliver them. The Public Sector CXC will take an empathetic approach and promote the full range of Verizon digital solutions to help clients. This is a direct sales, quota bearing role that will work directly with the Verizon Business Group Public Sector core account teams (Federal, State, Local and/or Higher Education) to drive new opportunities to closure relating to Customer Experience, Contact Centers, and Digital Transformation. As a Public Sector CXC (Customer Experience Consultant) you’ll be a subject matter expert in customer experience, customer service and contact center operations, and lifecycle customer engagement.

  • Work directly with Federal, State, Local and/or Higher Education prospects and clients on strategic sales activities.

  • Improve customer satisfaction and contact center operation metrics.

  • Create improved end to end customer service experience.

  • Deliver seamless service solutions that span any channels customers choose.

  • Meet Public Sector’s digital transformation needs by engaging as a trusted consultant and partner.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Four or more years of experience selling CX and contact center solutions.

  • Four or more years of experience selling into the Federal government or State, Local and Higher Education space.

  • Willingness to travel.

  • Valid driver’s license.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.

  • Six or more years of experience in a related discipline.

  • A proven strategic sales background that shows knowledge of complex customer solutions in the Public Sector.

  • Ability to focus on customers desired business outcomes and how solutions will support those outcomes.

  • Experience in customer experience, engagement management, digital transformation, and traditional Contact Centers.

  • Experience with industry technologies, professional services, business process outsourcing.

  • Experience activating core sales teams to focus on customer experience and individually creating, driving and closing customer experience sales, and selling into the Federal government or State, Local, and Higher Education marketspace.

  • Technical and business acumen.

  • Experience developing business relationships at C-levels and business unit owners.

  • Ability to lead a group of internal and external stakeholders to a common goal.

  • Extensive customer contact base and industry contacts gained over years of solution selling.

  • CCXP (Certified Customer Experience Professional).
