The Advanced Solutions Team within Verizon is focused on solutions that fuel and feed the growth and digital transformation to help our customers meet their most challenging business goals. The Verizon portfolio, with solutions to include but not limited to CX, digital workplace, advanced communications and cyber security, is well positioned to be a trusted partner to the world’s largest organizations.

Verizon is now building a team of professionals with Healthcare, Insurance and Life Sciences (HILS) industry vertical expertise to serve as Innovation Principals. This team will drive new relationships and manage the overall strategy and direction for the global/strategic HILS domain within key enterprise clients of Verizon. The ideal candidate has sat on the "customer side“ of the table industry to truly understand the needs and challenges they face.

· The HILS Innovation Advisor provides guidance and thought leadership to the healthcare clients and internal VBG team(s) on how to solve business problems through integrated Verizon solutions (Customer Experience, Digital Workplace, Security, IoT, Network solutions).

· This role directly works with the core account management teams to guide and execute funnel opportunities in the existing, run-rate business as well as strategic advanced solutions.

· The Innovation Advisor will operate in a matrix structure and lead a team of deal experts, solution architects and will work alongside core sales, adoption specialists and customer service consultants. Those resources could be dedicated or shared across multiple accounts.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree orfour or more years of equivalent work experience.
  • 6 or more years of relevant work experience.
  • At least 10 years of experience in HILS
  • Willingness to travel
  • Valid Driver's license

Even better if you have:

  • Proven ability to orchestrate large, complex technical solutions
  • Proven ability to network and open doors to C-suite level executives and keeping them engaged through execution
  • Proven ability to align the value proposition to each key stakeholder's objectives (customizing material, articulating benefits, demonstrating ROI, etc.)
  • Proven experience converting white space/green field opportunities OR experience managing pipeline of ideas for customer impact
  • Experience using a tracking system for follow-ups and next steps with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to navigate the customer organization and co-create recommendations based on deep understanding of client culture and ability to implement
  • Ability to identify disruptive opportunities in an account on a 1-3 year scale
  • Ability to coach internally on industry topics
  • Active participation/Leadership in Seller Networks
  • Active participation/Leadership in Industry Affiliation Groups
