What you’ll be doing...

BlueJeans by Verizon is searching for a Senior Product Manager to own and drive innovation in modern virtual care use cases. The Senior Product Manager will guide the leadership team, define the roadmap, and lead Engineering and Design teams to execute in all areas relating to the medical field at BlueJeans by Verizon, as well as play a major role in the broader Verizon Connected Health initiative. The right candidate will be a self-starter that can lead in a fast-paced environment that resembles a startup culture and is willing to wear “multiple hats”.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working on technology solutions to overcome challenges in healthcare and will possess empathy for what it takes to build smooth, productive experiences for medical providers and patients alike

What we’re looking for...

You will need to have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or at least four years work experience
  • At least five years building, managing, or deploying technology within the medical field

Even better if you have:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to present to and efficiently communicate to all levels within an organization
  • Reasonably technical, with basic understanding of software development roles, planning, scoping, and operating in an agile environment
  • Design-centric and passionate about creating simple user experiences
  • Proven ability to identify and prioritize the highest-impact capabilities by using a combination of data and qualitative customer research
  • Highly technical, with strong understanding of how APIs and SDKs enable technical platforms and systems to work together
  • Strong understanding of what constitutes PHI and how it relates to HIPAA compliance
  • Strong understanding of the major EHR and EMR solutions that exist in the NAM market and their approaches to 3rd party integrations · Prior experience building accessibility-friendly and inclusive product experiences (Section 508 compliance etc.)
  • Awareness of the broader healthcare industry to foster and develop relationships with potential partners who are innovating in the field
  • Understanding or prior experience building apps targeted at WebRTC, VDI and Tablet ecosystems (in addition to standard Desktop and Mobile)
  • Understanding of patient billing systems and workflows
  • Basic understanding and awareness of regulatory requirements such as GDPR, SOC2, and Fed Ramp
  • Basic understanding of unified communications, enterprise security, collaboration technologies are a plus
  • Experience with service entitlement, billing, and rating systems
  • Basic SQL skills and/or experience with Periscope or Tableau
