Seeking a pragmatic Principal Solutions Architect with hands-on experience with enterprise sales and the software development lifecycle. You will be part of the Location Technology Customer Success organization and will work with the team to find customer integration points and provide product subject matter expertise.

  • Engage with sales to understand the customers’ needs and build trusted advisor relationships with both the sales team and the customers.
  • Understand nuances between customer use cases and design solutions to meet each customer’s need.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and technical support resources to ensure proposed solutions include technical requirements that accurately address customer needs.
  • Develop proposals and present to customers.
  • Collaborate on development of pricing.
  • Confirm needs are met of customer to ensure relationship moves forward.
  • Work with the client to problem-solve through every hurdle during the sales cycle.
  • Work with internal teams and the customer to drive sales opportunity to a close.
  • Develop and deliver product demos, technical presentations, and proof of technologies (POC’s).
  • Be the technical solution SME in the sales process.
  • Leverage your knowledge of industrial automation technologies.
  • Serve as primary resource to answer questions and requests on product technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Four or more years of experience being part of the sales process for large enterprise customers.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% of your time for conferences and customer meetings (Restricted travel during COVID-19 pandemic).

Even better if you have:

  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Eight or more years of experience in an enterprise sales leading or support role.
  • Experience being part of the sales process selling into enterprise warehouse management, facilities management, and/or manufacturing.
  • Experienced with IoT, navigation systems, location/mapping technologies, and big data experience would be an advantage.
  • Ability to adjust presentation style & content based on audience.
  • Capability to be a critical thinker & innovator.
  • Ability to be a self-starter, independent and go-getter.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Strong presentation skills; including to C-Suite.
  • Verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to define software requirements.
  • Knowledge of product development.
  • General programming skills.
