What you’ll be doing...

Have you managed large-scale programs and partnered with other team members to deliver state-of-the-art solutions in the Human Capital Management area? We are looking for a highly talented and experienced Integrations Architect with a proven record in large program management and delivery. Your role as an Architect is to serve a key role in the HCM Transformation program. This is a multi-year program to move Verizon’s on-prem HR and Payroll processes and systems to Workday HCM Cloud.

  • Helps build technology strategies, and either builds or guides building prototypes showing new approaches for the non-Workday (Customs) functionality
  • Provides design and architecture guidance to technical leads to be able to take a larger leadership role in developing and maintaining their automations of the processes by introducing emerging technologies.
  • Experience in global Workday implementation programs in support of HCM (Human Capital Management); including Workday design, build and deployment experience.
  • Strong knowledge of one or more of the functional modules in Workday – Core HCM, Talent Acquisition, and/or Talent/Performance
  • Strong experience in well architected Workday Integration solutions that best leverage the platform
  • Build strong relationships with the Business teams to understand their requirements and be a key contributor to guiding optimal solution on Workday.
  • Lead project teams through requirements gathering, design, execution and delivery.
  • Translate business requirements into well architected Workday solutions that best leverage the platform.
  • Engage cross-functional teams on complete end-to-end integration solutions.
  • Manage a hybrid solutions architecture and delivery team composed of onshore/offshore, internal/external resources.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree and four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience in HCM/ERP implementation.
  • Experiencein OpenStack/Cloud platforms that include bringing best practices from end-to-end architecture from Identity Management to Operations.
  • Experience in providing design and architecture guidance to technical leads
  • Experience designing and configuring Workday integrations.
  • Experience leading Workday integration teams and/or projects from requirements gathering to deployment.
  • Experience in designing workflows to solve business and technical problems.
  • Experience in foundational web service technologies such as SOAP, REST, XSLT, and JSON.

Even better if you have:

  • Degree in computer science or computer engineering.
  • Analytical skills and experience with complete lifecycle of enterprise projects.
  • Experience in Workday Extend including design, development, deployment and maintenance will be a plus.
  • Experience with on-prem and SaaS enterprise software, modern cloud solutions (AWS, GCP, Workday cloud etc.), systems and data integration strategies.
  • Proven ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with cross functional team members.
  • Business focus, able to assess business needs, build relationships and manage expectations.
  • Ability to convey ideas and recommendations to a wide variety of audiences at all levels in a clear, compelling and succinct way in written and verbal communications.
  • Attention to detail and relentless commitment to follow-through.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle various projects simultaneously to drive timely results.
  • Strong functional knowledge of HR.
  • Experience in leading a hybrid team of employees and vendors to accomplish goals.
  • Communication, negotiation, collaboration, and leadership skills with ability to facilitate technology strategy, requirements, and architecture conversations with all stakeholders.
  • Willing and able to act as a role model and mentor other team members learning the technology.
  • Workday Extend / Integration / Studio Certification.
  • Knowledge of SDLC and SAAS solution implementation and management.

For part-timers, your coverage will vary as you may be eligible for some of these benefits depending on your individual circumstances.

If you are hired into a Colorado work location, the compensation range for this position is between $97,500 and $181,100 based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience.  This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
