What you’ll be doing...

We are currently looking for a self-motivated, Professional Services candidate who is interested in the challenges of IT Security, Advanced Networking & Communications consulting with a particular focus on SIEM and Security Gateway solutions, to join our team in Tokyo. You will have excellent technical ability, ideally coming from a Fortune 500 company and have solid experience in a consulting services or operational role including client-facing experience.

  • Vulnerability Management (VM) – Deploying, operating & managing industry leading VM solutions, using common vulnerability frameworks (CVSS, OWASP Top 10) andtechnologies such Qualys, Tenable Security Center, Nessus, IBM Big Fix, Rapid7, Skybox.
  • SIEM Solutions – SIEM technical solution deployment aligning to industries best practices. Understand and advise on current security threats and vulnerabilities, how to detect and mitigate them, andpossible consequences.
  • Developing and tunesecurity policy with use cases, threat libraries, and watch list details for better threat detection and threat recognition.
  • Security and Network Infrastructure – Deliver complex projects on technologies such as ZScaler, IBoss, Cisco ASA, Nexus, F5 LTM and GTM, Check Point, Juniper, Palo Alto technology platforms.
  • CSIRT – Iincident management, security strategy, proactive services that help prepare, recognize, and respond to a specific attack or known attack patterns.
  • Acting as expert consultant in review of network or security design documents, creating implementation/migration plans, based on defined business requirements.
  • Developing client relationships.
  • Consulting and working in depth with network and security architects regarding network and security technology and service decisions.
  • Complying with corporate risk management procedures.
  • Working to agreed budgets and timeframes, ability to work on and manage multiple project deliverables at one time.
  • Performing implementation and security testing activities in accordance with client maintenance/change windows.
  • Working within a team of consultants and work to and meet customers’ business objectives.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science;Electrical, Computer, Communications, or System Engineering; or related fields, or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Four or more years network and security delivery experience, in a structured project environment, delivering complexity network and security infrastructure solutions.
  • SIEM Systems - Vendor courses and certifications (e.g SPLUNK, QRADAR, etc).
  • Networking and Operating Systems – Vendor courses and certifications(eg. ZScaler, IBoss, Cisco, Check Point, F5, Microsoft, Sourcefire).
  • Knowledgeof the range of standards, guidelines, policies, and best practices affecting deployment of IT security technology and services.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes.
  • Experience with Software Defined Networking (SDN), End Point Security, Identity & Access Management, Intrusion Detection and Prevention solutions, Cloud Security and Web Security Gateway solutions.
  • Knowledge and understanding of security framework and standards like ASD, NIST, ISO 27000.

Even better if you have:

  • Industry certification such as CCIE, CCNA, CISSP, CCSE, MCSE.
  • Sound written and oral communications skills, ability to effectively explain solutions, and communicate in a clear positive fashion with internal and external stakeholders, clients, and suppliers.
  • Ability to collect and analyse requirements in order to develop compliant end-to-end technical solutions, processes and procedures and to lead a team of technical engineers to implement the solutions.
