What you’ll be doing...

Verizon is looking for a Systems Analyst/IT Project Manager for the Verizon Business Group public websites on the Development Operations team, part of Digital and Customer Experience (DCX) team for Verizon Business Group’s (VBG’s) Marketing organization. In this role, you will work closely with developers, systems operations admins and information architects on the Dev-Ops team (as well as on the global technology solutions team). You will interface with customer experience experts, analytics and metrics analysts, vendors, and other stakeholders to analyze requirements and manage technical development projects.

  • Managing content, code deployment, and troubleshooting Verizon Business Group’s public websites.
  • Meeting and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to understand project requirements and develop project timelines.
  • Analyzing, prioritizing, and organizing requirement specifications, user interface diagrams, and/or flowcharts for developers and user experience testers to follow.
  • Managing the front door to analyze and assign incoming technical requests and defect fixes.
  • Managing the set-up and configuration of redirects and vanity URLs.
  • Defining and coordinating the execution of testing procedures, developing test cases to serve the overall quality assurance process, and assigning defects found during user acceptance testing.
  • Providing documentation of Adobe Experience Manager Components and training authors as needed.
  • Developing and implementing code and content maintenance procedures, including the redirect and vanity URL process.
  • Performing design and/or feedback on user interfaces for Adobe Experience Manager Components to support users.
  • Enforcing best practices for scalability, supportability, ease of maintenance, and system performance.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Four or more years on the job experience using the following programming languages: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience using Adobe Experience Manager and/or Adobe Target software.
  • Experience using ticketing and defect management systems such as osTicket, Bugzilla and Jira.
  • Experience using MS Project, Smartsheet or other project management software.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree, BS/BA in Information Technology.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience; preferably in IT or digital marketing, ideally in an enterprise environment.
  • Technical knowledge using HTL, Java servlets, AEM experience fragments, and React JS technology.
  • Analytical skills and an attention to detail.
