What you’ll be doing...

The Customer Experience Executive - Public Sector Solutions is a Public Sector Domain expert with a speciality in Public Safety, Transportation, Education, Healthcare or Government services. You will be the catalyst to put the Public Sector decision maker and their mission at the heart of every decision and solution delivered by creating a Verizon and client culture focused on the customer, community, and constituent experience. You will assist Public Sector clients to digitally transform their operations with focus on transforming the customer experience. You will bring your expertise to educate and deliver better experiences for Verizon’s public sector clients. Have industry expertise and consulting skills to assist clients in envisioning how to create experiences that align with the customer’s needs and expectations. Work closely with the other Domain teams to utilize Verizon’s entire portfolio to address Federal and SLED customer missions. And have deep knowledge of how Public Sector agencies operate and the specific needs and challenges affecting them and constituents in areas such as Public Safety, Transportation, Education, and Constituent services.

  • Improving the customer experience through transformation.
  • Partnering with various internal organizations (Verizon CX, Marketing, Learning and Development, Product, and Sales/BD/Domain organizations) to create a Verizon and client culture focused on the customer experience.
  • Acting as a Professional Services resource, as needed, for outside advisory and consultation with Public Sector clients to improve the customer experience.
  • Creating Thought Leadership to write White Papers, participate in market events, and Use Cases.
  • Researching, understanding, and identifying customer’s mission-critical digital & technology transformation needs.
  • Co-creating client’s transformational roadmap vision to align a new constituent experience with the technology needs including Verizon’s portfolio of end-to-end solutions that the Domain teams have created.
  • Developing internal /external relationships while establishing thought leadership & credibility.
  • Bringing CX approach and best practices to Public Sector clients.
  • Articulating Verizon’s solutions, value proposition, differentiators, and win themes for domain in compelling stories, presentations, and proposals.
  • Influencing product roadmap prioritization by contributing information about vertical’s market conditions and opportunity potential for use in business cases.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Certified Customer Experience Professional (CCXP) or Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Must have experience in CX within the Public Sector
  • Experience engaging and influencing senior executives and familiarity with decision making processes.
  • Experience collaborating with partners through account management, product management, program management and business development engagements.
  • Experience working and communicating with multiple stakeholders and cross functional teams including direct and channel marketing, solution architect teams, Professional Services teams and account management teams.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • A valid Driver's License.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Ten or more years of experience in customer experience, salesor business development experience in the technology industry.
  • Sales and/or technical experience, specifically in coordinating field teams to develop and close high-profile deals.

  • Experience working with Systems Integrators and Consulting Companies to achieve sales.
  • Experience working with Technology, Small Business and System Integrator partners.
  • Direct government sales experience.
