Verizon Enterprise Solutions (VES) is seeking a highly motivated individual to lead and drive the growth of the Unified Communications and Collaboration Business in Continental Europe for Verizon. Part of the Verizon family, VES is a market leader in global enterprise for communication and collaboration services, Security and is positioning to be a market leader in IoT. VES is seeking candidates who take pride in driving a high growth agenda, winning customers’ trust and bringing them industry knowledge and perspective unique to UCC. Focused on a key market for VES, the successful candidate will be a key contributor to an International team composed of experienced sales, management and industry-leading Consulting and Technical delivery talent.

This Unified Communication and Collaboration (UCC) Sales Leader is responsible for leading and driving the growth of the UCC business, leading a team of experienced Sales Professionals driving the strategy and execution in a high performing sales environment. As the UCC Sales leader for this region you will work with VES Sales leaders to:

  • Lead the UCC Sales team driving revenue growth and new business acquisition.
  • Work in a high performing sales environment.
  • Align our sales strategy to customer outcomes.
  • Champion UCC in all aspects of the business.

You are comfortable digging deep to really understand the customer’s vision along with their unique situation and challenges. You like putting things together in new and creative ways to best solve the customer’s most pressing needs. You look for win-win solutions wherever you can and enjoy collaborating.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Sales Leadership Experience in Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC).
  • Willingness to travel

Even better if you have:

  • Experience leading a sales team and selling in complex Unified Communications and Collaboration solutions to global companies.
  • Understanding of the market landscape and a vision for success.
  • Ability to be a self-starter with strong leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a matrix management structure, managing stakeholders gaining understanding and commitment to your vision.
  • Ability to envisage and articulate value propositions across a range of customer stakeholders.
  • Experience communicating and interacting at the C-level.
  • Ability to communicate highly technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to develop and present executive-level presentations.
  • Strong and effective negotiation skills, both internally and with client decision makers.
  • Financial business acumen.
  • Experience balancing multiple competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience building effectiveinternal working relationships.
