What you’ll be doing...

You will be managing all aspects of implementation for the fiber build. You will be preparing the overall delivery schedule and time line, escalating issues internally and externally to meet deliverables, managing project budget internally and with vendor, and reporting status of deliverables.

  • Building and analyzing dashboards and using large data sets to improve timelines and drive project completion.
  • Driving complex projects and programs to achieve targeted and measured business goals and key objectives.
  • Coordinating and scheduling resources across multiple organizations to align project requirements with business goals and objectives.
  • Identifying and escalating project-related issues to achieve timely resolution.
  • Developing and implementing corrective action plans to mitigate impact to project schedules and overall business objectives.
  • Utilizing project tracking tools and systems to accurately document milestones completions, project issues, corrective action plans, project jeopardies, and overall project completions.
  • Maintaining excellent communication with functional team members and direct management to ensure early identification of issues a timely reporting of status.
  • Managing Vendors and creating roadmaps and timelines for execution of project delivery.
  • Meeting with Jurisdictions and working with them to execute the fiber build programs.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
  • Valid driver's license.

Even better if you have:

  • Technical or project management experience.
  • A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration.
  • PMP certification.
  • Agile Scrum Master, Lean Six Sigma Certification, and/or KanBan Experience.
  • Experience with data analytics and visualization with MS Excel, MS Access, and Tableau.
  • Experience with Python.
  • Knowledge of Engineering, Planning, and/or Operations with Fiber and Telecommunications networks.
  • Experience with expense and/or capital budgets.
  • Organization skills and ability to manage multiple priorities to completion.
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and critical thinking.
