What you’ll be doing...

This position will be responsible for filling the interconnection orders between facilities across the NE territory. You will be working with multiple complex systems and coordinating with regional engineers, operations technicians and IT to gather information, troubleshoot issues and meet market goals.

  • Enter GIS information pertaining to connection orders between facilities.
  • Configure rack layouts based on documentation.
  • Cross-reference multiple systems and interpret engineering diagrams to troubleshoot connection inconsistencies.
  • Document progress and issue resolutions for reporting and process enhancement purposes.

What we’re looking for...

You know a lot about outside plant engineering practices. You enjoy analyzing problems and having the autonomy to select and implement the right solutions. While you work well independently, you are also a great team player and enjoy leading colleagues and coordinating efforts to ensure best outcomes. No stranger to a fast-paced environment, you manage multiple assignments and competing priorities while staying focused on important deadlines. As a strong communicator, you can quickly build relationships with a diverse range of people and explain complex technical issues in a way that everyone can understand.

You’ll need to have:

  • Associate’s degree or two or more years of work experience.
  • Three or more years or relevant work experience.
  • Willingness to Travel.
  • A Valid Driver’s License.

Even better if you have:

  • Degree in Engineering.
  • Three or more years of experience in the cellular or telecommunications industry.
  • Experience performing as a team lead.
  • Strong knowledge withCAD, 3GIS or ArcGIS.
  • Computer and/or software troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft and G-Suite Office tools.
  • Ability to read and follow technical documentation.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Experience working with minimal supervision.
