What you’ll be doing...

Information technology sits at the heart of everything we do. You will help us keep our business running smoothly by getting your colleagues up and running on new hardware and software and providing ongoing IT support. Working primarily in a Windows environment, you’ll take ownership of people’s IT problems, using tried and tested methods to quickly and efficiently solve their issues. Your role is vital in enabling people to stay effective and carry on with their important work with minimal disruption.

  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Installing and configuring hardware including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Installing and configuring mobile applications.
  • Configuring and troubleshooting VPN software.
  • Maintaining an accurate inventory.

As an excellent written and verbal communicator, you are able to get the attention of IT and business audiences alike. You’re an independent problem solver, but also thrive in a fast-paced team environment, balancing competing priorities and supporting the efforts of team members to meet challenging deadlines.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of work experience.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • A degree.
  • Technical certifications.

Additional requirements:

  • Experience in a technical support role
  • Working knowledge and experience in end user support with
    Windows 7 and Windows 10 Operating system
  • Strong understanding of modern technical opportunities
  • Good understanding of confidentiality and security guidelines

The ideal candidate will also have experience with some or all of the following:

  • MAC OS devices
  • Networking technology
  • VOIP technology
  • Microsoft Exchange server
  • Scripting and data manipulation
  • Windows server
  • Networking topologies and protocols
