What you’ll be doing...

Architect, develop, and deploy on the One Talk product strategy and roadmap. Responsibility encompasses all aspects of the end-to-end product development life cycle from concept formulation to service deployment.

  • Product evolution and innovation.
  • Product design, concept formulation, and roadmap strategy.
  • Product architecture and standards compliance.
  • Creation of technical requirements based on business needs.
  • Vendor selection and management.
  • Cross-functional coordination across multiple VZ organizations.
  • Maintain the product roadmap and timelines.
  • Create / maintain product design documentation, network documentation, policies, and configuration information.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications or equivalent or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Technical product management experience during which you have driven PaaS or SaaS products from concept to launch and revenue generation.
  • Willingness to travel.

Even better if you have:

  • Experiencewith both B2B and B2C segments from small business to enterprise.
  • Experience with 3rd-party application integration, authentication, and authorization using programmatic APIs.
  • Working knowledge of web technologies, mobile platforms, and RESTful APIs.
  • A strong balance of business acumen, technical insight, and user-centered design skills to make the right tradeoffs for optimizing costs, quality, and business value while standing up for your customers’ needs.
  • Technical knowledge of the wireless network infrastructure and familiarity with wireless communication solutions, application traffic flows, and platforms.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, oral and written communications skills.
  • Enterprise messaging experience.
  • Experience with assessing and leading current Verizon technologies, leading large integration projects, or launching a new product from the ground up.
  • Master’s Degree and/or Industry Certifications (Cisco, Juniper, Nokia, Linux, Openstack, Microsoft, CISSP, etc).
  • Experience with application / infrastructure virtualization within a service provider network.
