What you’ll be doing...

Over the last ten years our Verizon Threat Research Advisory Center (VTRAC) has investigated thousands of data breaches worldwide, and we utilize our expertise in investigations, forensics and discovery to help build effective incident response plans. The VTRAC Senior Consultant role is a strong consulting lead role and works directly with a team of consultants in order to successfully deliver/lead global investigative response engagements in VTRAC portfolio for Verizon Business Group.

As a Senior Consultant, you will orchestrate between multiple departments to ensure a right solution is brought to a customer. You will take a lead role providing your Cyber Security Expertiseon behalf of Verizon’s VTRAC business in ANZ market, primarily in Japan.

  • Ensuring that the established revenue and utilization targets on a quarterly / annual basis for all established targets are met or exceeded.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely delivery of consulting projects for Verizon’s customers.
  • Working on proposal development and effort estimations for new opportunities.
  • Developing customer ready presentations and proposals.
  • Managing communication and administrative activities through the delivery of high quality and informative content on any requested report or any deal specific updates requested by management.
  • Engaging at executive levels within each account.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Fouror more years of relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge in Investigative Response/Digital Forensics and Information Security consulting (e.g. Security Incident Management/Operations)
  • Fluency in native Japanese language (speaking/writing/reading).
  • Can read/write English language (speaking is an added advantage but not required)

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • E/B.Tech/MBA degree.
  • Ability to coach, mentor and train others.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and ensure cohesive efforts toward a shared goal.
  • The ability to clearly communicate project requirements/timelines.
  • GREM/CISSP/EnCE certifications.
  • Ability to work in a fast and adaptable environment.
  • Knowledge of customer's environments and ability to intelligently and strategically discuss Verizon Security solutions/service delivery capabilities as they relate to our security services and client needs.
