What you’ll be doing...

Our Operations team is responsible for everything from hardware to operating system to automation to network traffic engineering. There are no limits or barriers. Everyone pitches in to run world-class infrastructure that delivers the BlueJeans video communications platform globally.
This role is responsible for systems architecture, support and security, along with deploying systems and supporting peer developers.

  • Participate in On-call rotation.
  • Work closely with the dev team and product management.
  • Juggle long-term projects with real-time monitoring and triage. so excellent communication is needed all the time.
  • Work on all DevOps functions (deployment, provisioning, maintenance, monitoring etc.) for our Azure environments.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Four or more years of work experience working in a Azure cloud environment
  • Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting knowledge.
  • Experience in automation using shell/bash scripts.
  • Experience in configuration management tool like chef, puppet, ansible. Preferably chef.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Computer Science or have equivalent work experience.
  • Basic understanding of Windows Servers and administration.
  • Experience in Azure Technologies such as; Azure Networking, Scale Sets, Traffic Manager, Cosmos DB, API management, Function App, Redis etc.
  • Experience in IaC way of deployments using Azure Resource Manager (ARM) and Kubernetes or Terraform
  • Knowledge of Azure Operational and Monitoring tools
  • Knowledge to set up and configure build servers (Azure DevOps, Bitbucket, Jenkins Pipelines, etc.)
  • Understanding of the entire CI/CD process, ability to design new CI/CD pipeline architecture and process

If you are hired into a Colorado work location, the compensation range for this position is between $76,000 and $141,000 based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience.  This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
