What you’ll be doing...

To act as a project officer/consultant working with Senior Project Managers in the management of projects, including the functions of scope management, budget and cost management, quality control of deliverables, schedule, resource and communication management and competent risk and issue management

  • Supporting the management of several projects at once, multi-tasking and managing your own time as well as project resources, according to project and customer requirements.
  • Developing client relationships through strong communication skills.
  • Complying with corporate risk management procedures.
  • Assisting with the management of complex implementation and security testing activities in accordance with client maintenance/change windows.
  • Adhering to and enforce Change Management procedures, drive creation and completion of successful changes.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Computer, Communications, or System Engineering, or related fields or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience supporting network and security projects, in a structured project environment, delivering network and security infrastructure solutions.
  • Ability to collect and analyze requirements in order to develop project statements of Work (SOW) including understanding of scope, costs, resource requirements, timeframes and inter-relating project management functions.

Even better of you have:

  • A degree.
  • Industry certification such as PMP, Prince2, Agile and/or ITIL highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of networking and Operating Systems in relevant products (eg. Cisco, Check Point, F5, Microsoft, Sourcefire) is desirable.
  • Knowledge of the range of standards, guidelines, policies, and best practices affecting deployment of IT security technology.
  • Good written and oral communications skills, be articulate in explanations, and communicate in a clear positive fashion with internal and external stakeholders, clients, and suppliers, covering highly complex solutions.
  • Knowledge of the range of standards, guidelines, policies, and best practices affecting deployment of IT security technology.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes.
  • Knowledge of the PMBOK areas (eg. time, cost, risk and issue management).
