What you’ll be doing...

The Verizon IAM function is a suite of applications that manage the Authentication and safeguarding of various Digital and care platforms. The ideal person will have good hands-on knowledge of the Testing lifecycle, strategies and take the ownership to deliver Quality control and assurance to the IAM functions.


  • Implementing defined Agile Test Governance Strategies and Roadmap across end-to-end delivery cycle to achieve quality and speed of testing.
  • Leading and managing Agile test delivery with support from test automation and performance shared services.
  • Defining and publishing testing dashboard, metrics and reporting framework to demonstrate values of testing and align to the needs of our key stakeholders.
  • Quantifying, manage, track and drive test KPIs to meet defined testing transformation SLA.
  • Engaging and work with cross-functional stakeholders to get their feedback on testing service delivery and identify improvement opportunities to drive the maturity of testing.
  • Establishing and maintain effective working relationships with appointed testing vendors and provide vendor performance feedbacks on a periodic basis.
  • Preparing and validate installation kit to deliver and deploy the code to QA, Pre-Production and Production environments according to Verizon DevOps standards.
  • Providing status reports on weekly basis indicating progress against project milestones and schedules.
  • Supporting Verizon DevOps software test life cycle, research bug reports and find and deliver software solutions and environment releases.
  • Supporting environment bug reports, alerts and customer escalations, research and find and deliver software solutions and production releases.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Six or more years of work experience in Testing & Quality assurance functions.
  • Six or more years’ experience in managing the complete Testing lifecycle for digital platforms - Web and APIs. (Certifications required in testing or agile)
  • Experience in executing and managing Manual, Automation, Performance (Jmeter/Gattling), Integration, cross-browser and security testing methods and concepts of service virtualization, test data management, continuous integration and testing with DevOps.
  • Having successful track record in defining and implementing Agile Governance strategies and roadmaps to drive test maturity in achieving high quality coverage.
  • Experience in tracking releases, deviations, reporting processes manually or using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Jenkins etc.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree.
  • Professional certification in Scrum Agile & Project Management, Quality Management (ISTQB, etc), Service Management (ITIL) is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience on Java/J2EE technologies.
  • Industry related certifications - SRE, Cloud or Security areas.
  • Experience in implementing Selenium/Robot frameworks through Java.
  • Experience in Databases and SQL queries.
  • Experience as a lead in managing a team of testers.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, have reporting/tracking skills, pay attention to details and be innovative at work in reporting/tracking & solving problems.
