What you’ll be doing...

This is a hands-on, comprehensive portfolio business operations project management, responsible for seamless execution of end to end daily portfolio operations.

  • Analyze and understand complex business processes and present them to business partners at all levels in an understandable and logical format.
  • Independently execute complex data analysis across multiple platforms through the use of Excel and other available tools.
  • Manage support issues raised by the business through to resolution and within defined support SLAs.
  • Handling financial and vendor governance across portfolio.
  • Build strong and productive relationships with key business stakeholders, sponsors, technology, Colleagues, and technology vendors to convey pain points, requirements, and process improvements in a clear and concise manner.
  • Confidently facilitate meetings with all levels of the organization including senior business stakeholders and senior management.
  • Interact with senior leadership and major stakeholders to establish strategic plans and objectives for programs or projects.
  • Consult with business partners to clarify and define complex project requirements, budgets and business cases, including statements of work.
  • Create and deliver presentations on program or project goals and plans, including progress reports.
  • Responsible in coordinating with multiple support teams like sourcing, HR, recruitment, security, technical development and testing teams, clearances, asset teams.
  • Responsible for bringing discipline and execution focus to the portfolio priorities by setting up program management frameworks, governance and reporting structures, measurement KPIs, review cadence etc.
  • Work closely with Leaders and other key support functions in forming collaborative teams that help execute the center priorities
  • Operationalize and sustain processes that emerge out of portfolio priorities and other initiatives

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Four or more years of experience with end to end portfolio operations management like Vendor governance, Workforce planning, Financial/budget Mgmt, Compliance Mgmt, Asset Mgmt, Communication & stakeholder management.
  • Experience using tools like excel, PPT, Visio and making presentations for senior leadership level meetings.
  • Experience in coordinating between multiple teams, work across organizations and lead cross-functional teams consolidating the data, doing the data analysis, patterns and suggesting improvements.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • ITIL certification.
  • Strong knowledge of project management systems such as JIRA / Confluence.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodology.
  • Ability to operate effectively under pressure of deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changes in business requirements and technology.
  • Desktop applications competency (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Mail, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Drives, Google Slides, PPT, Excel, etc.
  • Problem-solving skills to develop quickly yet sound solutions to resolve complex issues.
  • Strong strategic, analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work through issues independently.
  • Knowledge of operational and financial performance management measure, including implications for IT and Business strategy.
