What you’ll be doing...

The Senior Manager - Infrastructure Engineering Services will be responsible for leading the Server & Storage Infrastructure teams operating in the 24x7 model.

  • Apart from managing administrative & people management responsibilities, you will also be responsible for day to day delivery of operational workload, managing work distribution, handling escalations and root cause analysis.
  • Manage a team of thirty five or more members (Direct and Indirect), align teams with right priorities, set goals & objectives, performance-management, and engage in talent-development.
  • Communicate with a sense of urgency and collaborate with geographically diverse teams, leadership and time zones.
  • Provide structured reports to the management team showcasing strengths of Operations and areas of improvement.
  • Works across multiple stakeholders including Infrastructure/ Application teams and vendors while driving key programs.
  • Drive talent and technology transformation through SRE in Server & Storage Infrastructure.
  • Drive key focus on infrastructure & process automation through AI Ops.
  • Set up a culture for innovation in the datacenter modernization through engaging top talents, crowdsourcing, hackathons, partnering with CoE, bringing in external market insights.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree with Eightor more years of work experience.
  • Eight or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Five or more years of Managerial experience in managing 24x7 Data Center Operations.
  • Experience in SRE & AI Ops practices.
  • Experience in Data Center Modernization efforts: Automated patching, Self Healing, Right Sizing, Tech Refresh, EOSL migration.
  • Experience in System Virtualization using Vmware.
  • Experience in SAN & NAS Storage: EMC, NetApp, HP3PAR.
  • Experience in Security Patching & Vulnerability management.
  • Willingness to travel.

Even better if you have:

  • A degree in Computer Science or Business Management or Engineering or Information Technology.
  • Fifteen or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge in System Backup & Recovery: NetBackup, Legato, TSM.
  • Knowledge on Infrastructure management tools: HPSA, HPOmi, SCCM, BigFix, Tivoli, Nesus, BMC Patrol, Splunk, Newrelic.
  • Knowledge on any of the Cloud platforms: AWS, Google, Azure.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes, with experience in Incident, Change Management and Problem Management.
  • Infrastructure Certifications: Vmware, MCSE, Red Hat, Open Stack.
  • Knowledge and/or certifications including but not limited to AWS Security Specialist, Azure Security, CCSK, CCSP.
  • ITIL certification.
