What you’ll be doing...

You will be responsible for engineering and maintaining our external API (TDE) in support of our award winning SAAS Fleet Management, Fleet. You’ll work as part of a team using agile methodologies to design, scale, and own core applications that our customers directly rely on and integrate with.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high quality software that customers can rely on for mission critical applications both independently and in cooperation with your team
  • Implement changes and new features in a manner which promotes efficient, reusable and performant code
  • Support and advise users and consumers of our APIs.
  • Participate in code reviews
  • Investigate technical issues during the full development lifecycle, including specific components in production
  • Help shape the team's culture and work rhythm, including the development of best practices within the team

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree ( Computer Science or similar is preferred) or one or more years of work experience
  • Willingness to learn C# and work in .NET
  • Passion about technology and willingness to learn new skills and share knowledge
  • The ability to approach complex problems with a sense of ownership, enthusiasm, and innovation, and drive them to completion
  • The ability to anticipate problems and take decisive action, giving regard to the impact on other teams, development partners, and stakeholders
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good knowledge of design principles and best practices

Even better if you have:

  • Enthusiasm for the revolution that’s happening in transportation
  • Experience in C# and the .Net ecosystem (Framework and Core)
  • Experience with GIT or other revision control systems
  • The ability to comprehend complex business and technical scenarios
  • Experience with low level data structure and algorithm design
  • Experience working with relational databases (SQL Server, Postgres etc)
