What you’ll be doing...

Your role as a Recruitment Media & Marketing Specialist will support the Recruitment Marketing Team under the Global Talent Acquisition (TA) organization, and is responsible for attracting the best, brightest talent to come work at Verizon. You will project manage various critical media campaigns and deliver against key TA Hiring and Employer Branding objectives. This is a global and highly collaborative role; you’ll work directly with TA, Human Resources, Marketing, Vendors and Agency Partners. This opportunity is for the person that has a passion for recruitment marketing, a thirst for knowledge, and a drive that pushes them to be a self-starter.

  • Partnering with internal Global TA clients and external agency partners to help set media objectives and strategies.
  • Educating TA clients and stakeholders on the impact and value of employer branding and recruitment marketing.
  • Planning and executing on Recruitment Media campaigns on an ongoing and Ad Hoc basis that solve for a wide range of business needs and challenges.
  • Project managing media campaign lifecycle to ensure a timely delivery.
  • Reviewing all creative to ensure alignment with our Employee Value Proposition and compliant with the Verizon Brand.
  • Researching, identifying and proposing new branding opportunities and strategies to yield high candidate engagement
  • Analyzing external vendor POVs to ensure alignment with objectives.
  • Attending weekly status meetings with partner agencies to ensure project completion and deadlines.
  • Partnering with our external agencies to analyze media performance ensuring our efforts are contributing to TA’s strategic goals, and are generating ROI.

This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in media, talent acquisition, and/or relevant work experience.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • A degree.
  • Recruitment marketing experience or a clear knowledgeof the recruiting function.
  • Experience with SEO and social media strategies.
  • Current knowledge of trends and innovations in traditional and digital media.
  • Experience in project management, organizational leadership, and agency management.
  • Experience presenting to and working with senior leadership.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple responsibilities and projects simultaneously.
  • Working knowledge of social, digital, and traditional media concepts, terminology, and media plan execution.
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to make sound business decisions quickly.
