What you’ll be doing...

We are looking for a talented engineer with expertise in Cloud Native, distributed systems, and automation. You will join a growing team in our San Jose location that is at the core of our next video platform. As such you will be exposed to many exciting technologies.

  • Build exciting new features that will enable and enhance platform capabilities
  • Build reliable and scalable distributed infrastructure
  • Design, implement and optimize platform services and systems
  • Integrate and interoperate with third-party SDKs and APIs.
  • Write high quality and maintainable code.
  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle from design to development to deployment.
  • Investigate new technologies in the cloud area in order to enable new use cases in our product
  • Work independently and collaborate across teams

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Two or more years of experience in cloud technologies.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Eight or more years of total experience working with at-least one JVM languages.
  • Knowledge of Cloud Native Technologies.
  • AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud experience.
  • Knowledge of how distributed, resilient software is built and deployed.
  • Comfortable working in short, agile, iterative development cycles.

If you are hired into a Colorado work location, the compensation range for this position is between $139,000 and $258,000 based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience.  This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
