What you’ll be doing...

As the AI&D Sr Engr Consultant - Data Science for Business Enablement group for the digital domain, you will be responsible for, Business engagement and building innovative solutions by applying cutting edge data science and machine learning techniques in the Digital domain.

  • Analyze and build data science solutions that drive product effectiveness, personalization, better customer experience and operational efficiencies across projects in the digital domain.
  • Work with a talented team of data analysts, software developers, data science professionals and deliver the next generation data science solutions to the business.
  • Engage closely with architects as well as the business, understand problem statements and discover insights using data modelling and analysis techniques that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities.
  • Have a passion to understand domains, systems and be able to associate business opportunities to this understanding and create analytical solutions
  • Work closely and engage with key business stakeholders in discussions on opportunities where data science and AI can be leveraged.
  • Cross-team collaboration – Work closely with other AI & D pillars like data engineering and ML engineering
  • Drive technical innovation through active research and applications of new theories, techniques, and technologies.
  • Be a subject matter expert on machine learning and predictive modeling and a mentor to junior data scientists.

You will need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience
  • Four or more years of work experience in IT and Business Units driving data science solutions for enabling effective business outcomes.
  • Two or more years or more years of domain expertise in the Digital and Sales domains.
  • Two or more years of building hands-on data science and analytics solutions for digital and sales domains.
  • Experience building detailed and compelling end to end business cases in digital.
  • Excellent knowledgeof data elements within digital.
  • Good working knowledge of Python.
  • Good communication, presentation and collaboration skills.
  • Good data analysis skills.
  • Ability to brainstorm and identify new data science driven opportunities through thorough knowledge and analysis of existing systems and processes.
  • Assertive and objective decision making skills with the drive to deliver and arrive at solutions.

Even better you have:

  • Three or more years of experience practicing machine learning and data science in business.
  • Experience in Machine Learning, practical experience in architecting, building and implementing predictive models to solve business problems.
  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Experience in data management and data analysis in relational database and in Hadoop.
  • Experience in research, analytical, and critical thinking.
  • Experience with data mining and visualization.
  • Experience creating compelling narratives to influence decision makers.
  • SQL and database experience.
  • Experience interacting and collaborating deeply with other lines of business & the ability to work across cross cultural teams.
