What you’ll be doing...

As the Retail Program Manager, 3D Design and Experiential, you will manage internal clients, provide strategic counsel, and assist in business development. You will be responsible for managing specific 3D holistic store design projects that enhance the overall consumer experience. You will help lead strategy and creative development to support branding and sponsorship programs working across all Verizon Wireless initiatives. You will help run a cross-functional team of experts in the development and execution of all projects (in-store displays, fixtures, store concepts, events). You will work closely with internal clients, creative counterparts, operational partners, and project managers to ensure the creative work addresses business needs and meets creative excellence expectations. Additionally, you will ensure project management follow-through and accurate delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the initial point of contact for all aligned client projects, recommend, and advise internal clients on options and capabilities utilizing marketing best practices and holistic retail strategy, 3D design, and/or activation knowledge.
  • Maintain the “big picture” for projects and client requirements ensuring that related deliverables are treated appropriately.
  • Evaluate creative brief content for completeness and actionable content that will enable the creative team to create on-target deliverables for the client.
  • Provide strategic counsel and develop "trusted advisor" relationships with internal clients.
  • Serve as the voice within the creative studio and with external vendors for the internal client as well as facilitate client interaction with designers and writers as appropriate.
  • Ensure that the creative team understands client requirements and perspectives and the final output aligns as appropriate.
  • Understand clients’ products, audiences, and business objectives ensuring they are applied to client products; collaborate with designers and writers to ensure the product delivers on client promises.
  • Review products for quality, consistency, accuracy, and advancement of the visual and physical attributes of the brand in design reviews, and ensure that consistent image/message/quality is conveyed across the internal client’s products.
  • Set expectations with internal clients (e.g., timing, process, recommendations).
  • Attend sales, strategy, status, project kickoff, and other client meetings.
  • Help internal clients understand the importance of the brand and marketing objectives.
  • Leverage research and data to support client business solution strategies.
  • Assume responsibility for maintaining and growing account volume as appropriate, including generating new business.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • A degree.
  • Five or more years of experience in two or more of the following: account management role either in an external or internal advertising or retail design agency.
  • Working knowledge of 3D design development, architecture, and/or activation.
  • Experience managing a brand’s portfolios and pitching for new business.
  • Ability to evaluate and improve briefs, work closely with all disciplines within the agency and clients and collaborate.
  • Ability to translate complex ideas and express them in concise and simple ways.
  • Thought leadership, trend assessment, and customer insights.
  • Knowledge of traditional and emerging channels.
  • Knowledge of marketing best practices in the B2C and B2B fields.
  • Knowledge in specific channels or vertical markets by specific Client’s business units and the larger organization’s industry.
  • Passion for the complex. Resourceful and solution-oriented abilities.
  • Good budget and timeline management skills.
  • Good communication and design presentation skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
