What you’ll be doing...

You will design and implement highly scalable and highly reliable applications with an amazing customer experience by using open source and emerging technologies for Verizon Consumer Group.

  • Designing, Coding and Leading development projects for Systems of Engagement/Customer Interaction Channels.
  • Developing reusable frameworks, components, common schemas and standards to be used.
  • Participating in design discussion with Architects for building an end-to-end experience across all customer touch points.
  • Communicating and partnering with internal and external stakeholders on delivering the programs including new product/feature launches, existing product/feature enhancements, experience redesign and tech stack migration.
  • Being involved in all phases of the development cycle and analyze gaps on an ongoing basis.
  • Ensuring to improve performance of the application in an ongoing basis.
  • Partnering with Quality Assurance Engineering Teams to address the identified defects on time.
  • Resolving post production implementation issues.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in design and development of enterprise scale applications with expertise in coding, debugging, unit testing applications and troubleshooting coding issues.
  • Four or more years of experience in React/Angular JS, Javascript, JQuery/JQuery Mobile.
  • Two or more years of experience in Microservices, Web Services.
  • Experience in Redux Saga, HTML5, CSS/CSS3, JS frameworks, Spring Reactive, Java.
  • Experience in Devops, AWS Cloud.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Master's degree.
  • Experience of working in analytical projects in telecom domain.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Problem solving, analytical, and research capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to work effectively independently and willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
