What you’ll be doing...

You will be playing critical role in enabling QE activities on key programs for Wireless. This job is responsible for creation of all test materials, including test cases, test scripts, test data, defect management, issue resolution and production implementation for E2E Testing of Wireless Applications.

  • Involvement in approach reviews for all VZW application impacting changes.
  • Writing and executing test plans and scripts, documentation of test procedures and issues.
  • Utilization of Jira for Test Case storage, allocation and defect logging and management.
  • Responsible for testing a range of projects from enhancements to strategic initiatives with Manaul & Progression Automation.
  • Facilitate status calls and web demos to stakeholders to review projects and functionality prior to testing.
  • Partnership with IT leads in working through issues/defects and resolution.
  • Responsible for overall testing completion and metrics analysis, as well as status readouts to upper management.Ensure testing is completed within established time and that objectives conform to the user requirements and needs of the business.
  • Responsible for overall product delivery and approval/sign off.
  • Responsible for Release Production Testing, Implementation and Launch support as well as Warranty issue tracking.
  • Maintain communication with management, testers, IT and Stakeholders on project status.
  • Responsible for providing analysis and metrics for projects and overall release on an ongoing basis.
  • Providing automation engineering support and work towards delivering highly efficient and reliable applications to the customers.
  • Automate the test execution and identify the defects through automation.
  • Understand the org KPIs (Progression automation, automation efficiency, regression automation, CI/CD etc) and diligently follow and accomplish the targets defined.

We are looking for highly talented, self-motivated, engineers with a drive to make a difference. You will be playing critical role in enabling QE activities on key programs for Wireless. Strong problem-solving skills, as the candidate will be involved in the identification and solving complex functionality issues encountered while building world-class digital/Assisted applications across different platforms (Web, Mobile, and NextGen technology/devices) and middleware solutions using a scalable and future-ready framework.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with automation tools, developing software test plans, managing defects lifecycle using standard tools.
  • Experience in Core Java, Selenium, SOAP UI.
  • Experience with Agile and CI/CD pipeline, DevOps Tool chain (Jenkin, QTest, JIRA, GIT/STASH).
  • Experience with automation tools & frameworks (Page object Model, Key word and Data driven Framework) developing software test plans, managing defects lifecycle using standard tools.
  • Knowledge on SDLC practices and methodologies – Agile, Safe Agile.
  • Strong knowledge on flow based automation and should keep track of all defects resulting from testing, ensuring all high and urgent priority defects are reported on time.

  • Automation Experience in TOSCA tool.
  • Certification in Agile.
  • AWS knowledge is added advantage.
