What you’ll be doing...

As a wireless Construction Project Manager on the FL Implementation team, you enjoy managing complex, large-scale projects impacting a large variety of stakeholders, both internal and external. The focus of this position is driving the construction and activation of new macro cells into the Verizon network. You have a keen eye for detail, but never lose sight of the big picture. Being results-driven and well-organized, you are adept at identifying potential project roadblocks and developing mitigation strategies. Excellent communication and team building skills enable you to negotiate with internal and external partners to ensure nothing gets in the way of success. You thrive in a fast-paced, high demand environment, making effective decisions quickly, and juggling competing priorities with ease.

  • Track milestones, and coordinate across disciplines on missing, upcoming, and past-due tasks.
  • Manage changing priorities, competing priorities, and situations in which guidelines can change.
  • Track handoff intervals, and average timelines for milestone benchmarks like RFDS creation, real estate, construction, and transport, as well as permitting and integration.
  • Standardize reporting, workflows, and processes across disciplines, and tools.
  • Host weekly deployment calls to help identify issues and close gaps between teams as well as quarterly best practices calls across disciplines, internal and external.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Even better if you have:

  • Wireless construction experience, and familiarity with the following documents: RFDS, Structural, Construction Drawings, Leasing or Permits.
  • Experience with Tableau, Fuze, and Google.
  • Proficient with process creation and implementation.
  • Willingness to learn new processes and technologies.
  • Willingness to adapt to different settings and investigate/implement alternate approaches to resolve problems with minimum management input.
  • Strong Excel and data analytics skills.
  • Exceptional time management and communications skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of relevant work experience in the wireless industry.
  • Strong ability to manage changing priorities, competing priorities, and situations in which guidelines can change.
