What you’ll be doing...

We want to liberate access to digital media, delighting our customers with beautifully crafted products that put them in control. We’re looking for someone who can work independently to build and perform an effective test strategy for end-to-end system tests that make sure our products do what they’re supposed to do. You’ll troubleshoot through investigating logs and undertaking root cause analysis to solve complex technical issues. Working with other engineers, architects, and development team members, you’ll deliver innovative products that redefine how media is consumed in the world today.

  • Developing test strategy and associated plan for end-to-end systems tests with multiple integration points.
  • Carrying out end-to-end systems tests at scale to validate key business flows for video delivery, transcoding, and blackouts.
  • Making feature and system level test cases for video blackouts testing on OnCue devices and applications.
  • Working with the test architecture team to identify areas for automation, writing scripts to identify and automate manual test cases.
  • Working with the software and release engineering teams to test and release new versions of the OnCue platform and application code.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with video delivery pipeline, transcoding, 4K and/or HEVC.
  • Knowledge of suitable delivery protocols, network delivery and firewalls.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related technical field.
  • Familiarity with multicast and IGMP protocol.
  • Experience in RESTful web services and HTML applications.
  • Understanding of IP capture tools.
  • Experience with Linux/Unix.
