As an Research Developer at VLT you will be part of the research team in Linköping, Sweden. This team is responsible for developing the existing indoor positioning systems (IPS) and explore new positioning technologies. You will have the responsibility for the general software architecture in the eco-system surrounding the positioning algorithms.

  • Design, implement and maintain the software architecture for our positioning systems.
  • Implementation of proof-of-concept ideas.
  • Implementing algorithms with efficient code.
  • Developing software tests and quality assurance procedures.
  • Deploying software tools, processes, and metrics.
  • Stay up-to-date with new software technology trends.

The work location for this role is in Linköping, Sweden, and you will be working in a hybrid team that implies both work from home and in the office.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.
  • Strong experience in software development life cycle, architecture, software design, software patterns, and to value code quality.
  • Knowledge in Signal processing/Sensor Fusion or related technologies.

Even better if you have:

  • MSc in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience in Machine Learning.
  • Experience in positioning methods.
  • Knowledge in Kotlin, Java, Swift, Python and Matlab.
  • Knowledge about Android, iOS, AWS.
