What you’ll be doing...

Verizon’s Chief Creative Officer (CCO) is seeking an organized, analytical and motivated executive assistant to support both day-to-day calendar and logistical needs of their office, and to contribute to their successful operation of the brand’s Creative Marketing Group.

This role will be within a hybrid working model. You'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days, which will be designed and set in collaboration with the CCO’s schedule, where feasible.

In this role, you will:

• Directly support Verizon’s CCO in day-to-day execution but with long-term considerations in mind, working closely with the Chief of Staff (COS) to ensure success.
• Manage a dynamic senior executive calendar with an eye for seeing around corners and anticipating issues, while maintaining sensitivity and confidentiality across all areas of work.
• Coordinate meetings and prepare agendas with direction from both the CCO and their COS, while contributing thinking for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Manage contacts across agency partners, and act as an additional point of contact for CCO’s office.
• Proactively bring together appropriate people and resources to support the CCO in both foreseen and unforeseen capacities.
• Manage travel arrangements and coordinate planning across various internal functions.
• Process and maintain expense reports.
• Assist overall Creative Marketing Group on project administration as needed.
• Understand organizational policies and procedures necessary to ensure appropriate protocols are followed.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

• Bachelor's degree, or three or more years of work experience.
• Three or more years of administrative experience supporting senior-level executives.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills that can be applied to exchanges with varying levels of leadership and external contacts.
• Experience with Apple and Google products and programming.
• Demonstrated ability to stay organized, meet (and help senior-level executives anticipate) deadlines and work independently.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule to include evenings and/or weekends on occasion or as needed.

Even better if you have:

• Experience in the wider marketing industry; advertising/creative fields an extra plus.
• Five or more years of administrative experience supporting senior-level executives.
• Experience and demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external parties.
