What you’ll be doing...

Verizon’s GTS Team of SOE Sales organization is responsible for end-to-end delivery of multiple digital programs on FiOS and Wireless ordering applications, cloud-based platforms, and emerging technologies. All these applications use Microservices framework for orchestration & technology management. Team is looking for you to be a part of the development team contributing and leading the design and development tasks of frontend UI experience in digital Sales platforms. You would primarily be working on online dotcom applications in digital Sales with technologic ranging from Spring boot Micro services and React JS integration with AEM. This is one of the critical service streams for Verizon, and being a high volume application, performance & scalability in this case is of paramount importance.

• Take complete E2E ownership of deliverables, business analytics and innovation to drive business KPIs.
• Interaction with Clients and Business for Design Requirements.
• Bug Free Coding and make sure the development is done through proper coding standards.
• Do code peer-review. Make sure code is fortified and have no vulnerabilities.
• Support testing activities and interact with testing team to work on defects and make sure they are tested.
• Monitor the deliverables in production and make sure that production availability is >99.99%.
• Research new technology involving online application stability process, machine learning AI and on board new technology solutions.
• Acts as a subject matter expert in the technology space and has a strong understanding of the product roadmap, trends and industry practices.
• Apply information and knowledge to an endpoint technology road map. Participate in external peer-to-peer conversations and industry events relevant to work responsibilities.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we’re looking for...

You will need to have:

• Bachelor degree or one or more years of work experience.
• Knowledge on Microservices, Spring boot, J2EE (Servlets, EJBs, Struts, Springs, Hibernate).
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and projects.

Even better if you have:

• Two or more years of experience in technologies ranging from Core Java, ReactJs, JavaScript, CSS3, and HTML5.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically, problem-solve, and drive tactical execution.
• Ability to operate independently in a results oriented environment.
• Ability to multi-task in a deadline driven environment.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong oral, written and interpersonal communications.
• Augmented reality experience.
