What you’ll be doing...

As a Senior IT Project Manager, you’ll join our Global Technology Solutions team, where you will be responsible for performing high-level activities (e.g. client requirements collection/analysis, systems design, etc.) related to all phases of the systems life cycle. You’ll provide technical leadership and/or business-related subject matter expertise, and will be evaluating and developing reliable and efficient automated solutions to fulfill complex business requirements.

  • Responsible for simultaneously managing multiple technical projects following Agile (SAFe) standard methodology.
  • Collect client requirements, perform analysis, write program specifications and develop designs.
  • Produce high-quality deliverables in a timely fashion and perform technical evaluation of products.
  • Lead several Scrum teams focused on delivery and execution on day to day activities.
  • Coordinate the work across the business analysts, developers and testers, as well as work collaboratively with our business and technology departments across the company.
  • Perform program management activities such as planning, sizing, staffing, scheduling as well as implementation activities.
  • Analyze and proactively manage problems and make decisions that impact overall system(s) and project(s) while acting independently.
  • Evaluate, develop and implement sound systems solutions to effectively fulfill business requirements.
  • Proactively communicate status reports, issues, and risks to the manager.
  • Frequently communicate with Director, VP, and senior level management, including authoring milestone notification materials for COO, CIO, CFO and area presidents.
  • Successfully complete all relevant technical and professional training programs in accordance with performance.
  • Chair team charter sessions to achieve working agreements for program initiation.
  • Manage vision and roadmap-related timeline of deliverables and milestones with ongoing updates to status.
  • Lead calls to establish "groomed" user stories which document development effort estimates and include requirements from both value and core teams.
  • Chair iteration planning meetings delivering a list of user stories accepted into the sprint and those which are deferred to a future iteration.
  • Chair daily touch point meetings and document meeting minutes, action items, owners, and due dates.
  • Record demos wherein the development team showcases the functionality and the RTE documents business feedback, change requests, and sign off prior to release.
  • Update Clarity and Jira to reflect impacted applications, sprints, releases, phases, resources.
  • Maintain Kanban boards and other key areas to ensure work to be done is clearly communicated and aligns with defined processes.
  • Publish daily status reports, in addition to ad hoc updates to the project team on changes as they occur; includes risk registers and mitigation plans.
  • Mentor scrum leads in day to day activities.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Technical project experience on enterprise impacting projects.
  • Experience applying agile project methodology concepts.

Even better if you have:

  • 5G Experience.
  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Systems, Marketing, or Business Administration.
  • Experience in a Professional Services or Delivery team.
  • Good understanding of wireless telecom business practices, including accounting, finance, revenue assurance, taxation, billing, customer care, legal, device management, and network operations.
  • Technical (e.g., systems design) and/or analytical skills.
  • PMP certification, SCRUM Master Certification and Project management experience.
  • Possess Business acumen and interpersonal skills, Organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Expertise in Atlassian products (Jira / Confluence).
  • Working knowledge of Clarity.
  • Advanced computer application competency (e.g., Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Google tools like Sheets, Docs and Slides, etc.)
  • Possess decision-making and leadership abilities.
