What you’ll be doing...

The EMEA Functional HRBP Manager role will be the HR Business Partner for an EMEA business function in the EMEA region. This role will be the strategic partner and change agent to the functional business leaders as well as the expert in execution of HR matters. As well, this role will be responsible for ensuring that the talent strategy is met to drive increased business performance and productivity. A key responsibility of this role will be driving programmatic BAU activities that ensure execution of the global Strategic Workforce plan for the region, including close collaboration with the US and regional HRBPs to assure all activities are aligned and legally compliant in the respective countries. A key component of this position will be to address escalations/issues as well as ensuring all client needs are met with innovative and creative solutions leveraging our solution partners/COEs. There will be a need to develop strong relationships and partnering across the EMEA Business and HR Leadership team.

The primary accountabilities of this position include:

  • Owning a client group - partnering with group leaders to understand their business strategy, people challenges, and opportunities and providing innovative solutions to address gaps and develop top talent.
  • Partnering with the solution provider/COE team to discuss, address, and provide solutions to the client in all areas of staffing, compensation and benefits, training, and talent development.
  • Driving the talent development and BAU metrics across the region.
  • Partnering with the global HR Leadership team and local solution/COE provider leads on alignment of HR initiatives, client support, and issues/escalations and ensuring local alignment to international/global objectives.
  • Ensuring regional HR metrics are met in relation to staffing TTF, workforce composition, diversity, turnover, deliberative development, quality of hire, and any additional metrics as required.
  • Ensuring solid workforce plans are in place in EMEA with gaps being addressed.
  • Partnering with the ER team to ensure true collaboration on initiatives that require country implementation and compliance with all ER matters and all issues are addressed in a timely manner ensuring risk to the business is minimized.
  • Ensuring global alignment on organizational efficiency programs and metrics.

This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience.
  • Knowledge and understanding of legislative requirements across multiple countries in EMEA.
  • Experience managing employee relations cases.
  • Experience withconflict resolution.
  • Willingness to travel.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • A degree, ideally in Human Resource Management or Business Administration.
  • HR Generalist experience, including experience with recruiting, performance management, employee relations and development, and coaching across multiple countries in EMEA (or managing others doing so).
  • A drive for results.
  • A strong customer service mindset.
  • A solid understanding of business financials and the drivers that impact the region.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Ability to lead change and execute in functional and matrixed environments.
  • The ability to build and foster relationships with senior leaders.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills (in English).
