What you’ll be doing...

As the Senior Project Manager - 2D Retail Creative Design, you will manage internal clients and help lead creative development to support in-store brand programs across Verizon Consumer and Business, enhancing the overall consumer in-store experience. You will be responsible for prioritizing projects, tracking and communicating scope, and reporting, load balancing resources, and communicating status and risk to key stakeholders. You will help run a cross-functional team of experts in the development and execution of the following in-store projects: campaign, promotions, digital experiences, and signage.

  • Serves as the initial point of contact for all aligned projects, recommending and advising project stakeholders on options and capabilities utilizing holistic retail strategy, 2D and digital creative development, and studio production knowledge.
  • Partners with the internal stakeholders and Creative Directors to lead and direct teams on paths forward, problem solving and prioritizations.
  • Evaluates creative briefs for clarity, completeness and actionable content that will enable the creative team to create on-target deliverables for the client.
  • Manages expectations with clients and departmental teams. Negotiates timelines and budgets and ensures that all deadlines are maintained
  • Ensures all regulatory, legal and compliance, and branding guidelines are followed to the letter on their assigned businesses.
  • Works with production and studio to ensure proper specifications are documented and delivered against.
  • Provides final sign-off on projects to ensure compliance with creative brief and project specifications.
  • Develops and maintains solid client relationships; encourages a collaborative approach with departmental team members.
  • Serves as the voice within the creative studio and with external vendors for the internal client as well as facilitate client interaction with designers and writers as appropriate.
  • Ensures that the creative team understands client requirements and perspectives and the final output aligns as appropriate.
  • Attends strategy, status, project kickoff, and other client meetings.

This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of professional level experience in a project management or account management role, either in an advertising agency or creative design company.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • A degree.
  • Working knowledge of 2D creative development processes, studio management and overall project management.
  • Experience managing a brand’s portfolios and pitching for new business.
  • Ability to evaluate and improve briefs, work closely with all disciplines within the agency and clients and collaborate.
  • Ability to translate complex ideas and express them in concise and simple ways.
  • Thought leadership, trend assessment, and customer insights.
  • Knowledge of traditional and emerging channels.
  • Knowledge of marketing best practices in the B2C and B2B fields.
  • Knowledge in specific channels or vertical markets by specific Client’s business units and the larger organization’s industry.
  • Passion for the complex. Resourceful and solution-oriented abilities.
