What you’ll be doing...

As a Technical Project Manager for the VBG Sales Automation team you will develop new strategies and oversee the delivery of technical infrastructure projects in close collaboration with GTS resources. In this role, you’ll serve as the strategic subject matter expert for the VBG sales experience across the application ecosystem and you’ll meet and represent business stakeholders to achieve desired business outcomes. The goal is to deliver a highly integrated customer-first experience that is closely aligned to sales representative and customer journeys in the multiple channels and lines of business where VBG meets the customer. You will work with the business and GTS partners to identify strategic projects, develop a business case, secure funding, create a roadmap, execute on that roadmap as project owner and ultimately measure and report on results. This role will be leading large projects and enhancements and will be responsible for engaging Sales, GTS, Finance, Compliance, Legal, Training, GTM, and others to ensure successful delivery and utilization in the field.

Other responsibilities of the position include:

  • Drive the innovation and optimization strategy for many aspects of B360 Point of Sale, SFDC, MyBiz integrations and related application ecosystem
  • Prepare relevant documents, e.g., solution diagrams, use case lists, process flows, functional designs, and wireframes.
  • Establish required business case(s) / convey business need(s) to the portfolio team for the annual funding request process.
  • Perform analysis and research in support of requirements definition.
  • Gain alignment / approval for work and establish initiatives.
  • Assess and understand key scope, system needs, and overall requirements.
  • Establish LOE / project plan across multiple functional areas and departments.
  • Identify appropriate resources to effectively drive the required solutions.
  • Drive alignment of RTE and GTS resources and establish project roadmap.
  • Write and groom all user stories using Agile practices.
  • Assess complexity, finalize designs and confirm system requirements with all partners.
  • Build and maintain continuous and optimized flow of projects based upon available resources.

This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge of VBG business sales processes, products and services, and the full ecosystem of related applications.
  • Experience delivering projects using an Agile methodology.
  • Experience creating and executing against planned roadmaps.
  • Experience with related B2B systems (e.g., B360 POS, Quote, SFDC)
  • Knowledge of Salesforce/SaaS components and how they interact.
  • Experience using Jira, Confluence, Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with data analysis.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • UI/UX Design experience.
  • Scrum Master Certification.
  • Experience with VIKI, Chatbots, AI, or other digital assistant solutions.
  • Strong Paint/Photoshop, Visio/Lucidchart skills.
  • Experience with business sales in multiple sales channels and LOB’s.
  • The ability to quickly understand various technology platforms and internal systems.
  • Strong partnership skills to work effectively with external agencies and multiple internal stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience with external vendors.
  • Understanding business solutions, customers, products, and services.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, coupled with the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • A drive for results and the ability to adapt quickly to new systems and processes.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-changing environment and to influence without authority
