What you’ll be doing...
Business Analytics Center of Excellence (BA CoE) is at the heart of Verizon's Digital Finance vision focusing on solving most critical challenges using Data, Advanced Analytics, AI, and Automation. You will be joining the Predictive/Prescriptive Analytics team within BACOE that is focused on providing wide variety of ML and analytics in Credit, Marketing Investments, Collections, and Budgeting by applying advanced analytics techniques
This role involves working in a complex, multi-functional team environment with other data scientists and data engineers to develop and productionize analytics solutions. As a Data Scientist on the team you will work side-by-side with an experienced team to develop cutting edge AI/ML Models and solutions to tackle some of Verizon's biggest challenges. This position requires a strong financial acumen, deep understanding of customer behaviors, strategic thinking, and x-functional aptitude in order to design analytical solutions to make the best informed decisions possible. The successful candidate will interact with all HQ & Market departments including Marketing, Credit risk, Collections, Corporate Finance, Digital Finance and other Analytical teams in the organization.
This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.

You have a high level of curiosity and investigative mind-set with an attention to detail, a tenacity of thought, the flexibility to adapt to new challenges and the resiliency to overcome short-term hurdles by staying focused on the team's deliverables.
