What you’ll be doing...

In this role, you will lead a team of individuals supporting VBG Channel Product Development with a focus on identifying and enabling products to sell through partner channel routes to market in addition to enabling channel solutions through VBG. You will report to the Associate Director– Channel Strategy. You will have a strong interlock with the VBG product organization and demonstrate deep knowledge of emerging technologies and the Channel landscape. Through an ongoing performance management cadence, and in lock-step with the Channel Strategy & Sales Enablement and Channel Operations & Program Management teams, you will hold cross-organization and cross-BU teams accountable to delivery timelines and update leadership on a weekly basis to ensure the proper prioritization is given to operational and sales initiatives.

  • Manage a team of individuals that will be a single point of contact for Channel Product Development supporting all channel routes to markets and BUs for wireless/ wireline.
  • Strategic partners with the product org across all BUs driving cross-channel synergies (e.g., product leads for BM, GE, PS in addition to product leaders i.e. UCC).
  • Identify channel routes to market early in product dev to align specific segment, product and GTM requirements.
  • Deliver complete end to end solutions leveraging the best of VZ products and channel capabilities to simplify the customer experience.
  • Lead new product enablement through channel
  • Leverage channel agility, innovation and capability to launch build-for-purpose solution bundles; work with sales BUs and GTM to bring solutions to sales orgs across all segments.
  • Lead efforts and align with finance profitability to determine margins and routes to market (i.e. resale vs. agent, tier 1/2, LBA process) early in product development.
  • Drive convergence of partner ecosystem and align strategic relationships across archetypes (e.g., strategic OEM relationships across Archetype 1, 2, 5).
  • Identify industry, segment and compliance needs that drive solution innovation and engage the right ecosystem for solution development.
  • Drive integration of wireline/wireless solutions and capabilities across the partner ecosystem.

Where you'll be working:

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree orrelevant work experience.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
  • Knowledge of channel product offerings, with ability to tailor strategies based on product type, partner needs, and market trends.
  • Knowledge of technology trends and convergence of wireline/ wireless technologies.
  • Previous telecom experience, with BU-specific experience in roles with increasing responsibility.
  • Management experience.

Even better if you have:

  • MBA or other relevant advanced degree related to business or telecom.
  • Relevant years of pre-sales and post-sales support experience and / or business sales experience.
  • Track record of managing and influencing relationships at the senior executive level.
  • Strong strategic thinking abilities, with a capacity to leverage analysis to develop and implement product growth strategies across all archetypes and BUs.
  • Problem solving skills in resolving complex challenges involving tradeoffs between revenue opportunities, resource availability, and overarching strategic objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and nurture deep relationships with senior leaders across VBG, acting as a trusted advisor and thought partner with polish and professionalism.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and motivate stakeholders to action across all levels and functions of the organization.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex and conceptual ideas effectively with clear, concise, top-down communication style.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate through ambiguity, and drive timelines.
  • Strong entrepreneurial drive with comfort and passion for growing a business.
  • Ability to multitask, balance competing priorities, and flex with changing business needs with strong attention to detail.
  • Previous channel-specific experience, ideally working directly with channel managers and partners.
